David Morales, 40, was a passenger in a car that accidentally hit a 2-year-old child (ostensibly not out of the arms of the child’s parents). The driver did the right thing and came out of the vehicle to check the child’s well-being.  (The child’s injury was confirmed to not be life-threatening). Some members of the crowd descended on the driver with violence. David came to the driver’s defense and was reportedly BEATEN TO DEATH!

Afrocentrix.com’s mini-poll indicated not many people are aware of Juneteenth and it’s significance. Now, what some will know about this solemn aspect of the nation’s history is yet another display of man’s mindless act of inhumanity to man.

May David’s soul rest in peace and the perpetrators of the cruelty be brought to firm justice.

“If it feels good, screw everyone else” is the attitude that has unfortunately been associated with much of modern day America. L.A. Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa opted to tow this line. When he married his wife some 20 years ago, he was apparently so taken he changed his name to a combination of his and hers - he was Antonio Villar.
